Come Support Tom Joy & Son’s, Inc grill master team and the local emergency rescue squad Sunday, July 30, 2006 during the barbeque cook-off challenge. Event begins at 11:00 a.m. with activities for all ages. There will be live music by: Jess Hav’n Fun between 1:00-5:00 p.m.

The BBQ judging will begin at 2:30 and BBQ dinner served beginning at 3:00 p.m. Team Members are: Kurt Kipling, Jan Kipling, Christopher Magnuson and Beckey Schwertfeger.

The event will be held at the 2C’S GAME FARM. From Tom Joy & Son, Inc - Take 41 south into Peshtigo. Turn Left on W. Front Street (after bridge). Note: Front Street turns into Hale Road. Follow about 3 miles. Turn Left on Hale school road. Turn Right on Coble Road.

Stop by and visit Tom Joy & Son, Inc staff during our truck demonstration in support of educating the public on driving safely around large trucks, or otherwise known as the NO-ZONE. Additional details regarding this event include:

Enstrom Helicopter, Emergency vehicle displays and Demos, informational displays, food, ice cream, prizes, candlelight Vigil Walk and music by The Spark Plugz, 7-9pm in conjunction with the Marinette Menominee Chamber of Commerce Sunset Concert Series. Dar Boys & Girls Duck Race. Parking available in Library Parking lot - shuttle bus from Menominee Angeli's parking lot to Island by Westlund Bus Lines.

Here’s a good opportunity to earn your recruiting bonus (see details below regarding the referral bonus). We will be having a recruiting and informational vendor booth set-up at the UP State Fair Grounds located in Escanaba, MI. If you have been talking with potential drivers this is a perfect opportunity for them to come and talk with Jill, Jennifer, Beckey or Shelly. 2006 Fair Schedule

Any current Tom Joy & Son, Inc Employee or Independent Contractor that refers a qualified Company Driver or Independent Contractor and that driver is hired will receive a .02/mile REFERRAL BONUS for 6 MONTHS! (based on the referrals miles)

1. All drivers referred must qualify based on Tom Joy & Son, Inc hiring criteria.
   1. Must be 23 years old
   2. At least 1 year OTR experience
   3. No more than 3 moving violations, accidents or incidents in the last 3 years
2. Bonus will only be received if the referral is hired.
3. Bonus will be cancelled if the referral quits or is terminated prior to end of the 6 month bonus period.
4. Bonus will also end if the employee or contractor receiving the bonus quits or is terminated prior to the end of the 6 month bonus period.
5. Referrals must be in the hire process by September 30, 2006, for the employee or contractor to receive the bonus.
6. Multiple referrals can be made.
7. Notification must be made to the Recruiting Department regarding the referral and/or the referral must mention you by name when applying.
8. Referral Bonus ends September 30, 2006.
